GDPR

The aim of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is to better safeguard the data privacy and security of EU citizens by establishing a new data protection standard for businesses and government. The GDPR will be introduced in May 2018 with many of its key principles similar to those in the current Data Protection Act (DPA). It’s important to note, however, that there are significant differences and we strongly recommend you bring yourselves up to speed with the changes. Find out more about GDPR here.
